Whale Watch Sunday
Posted on: 12-23-2018
What a great start to our season! We started off the morning with a few scattered pods of Common Dolphin and followed a stealthy Gray Whale as it headed south. In the afternoon, we had well over 1000+ Common Dolphin that we could see for miles as they surrounded the boat. As they played and jumped through the air, we were alerted to a big Gray Whale that was migrating south - with a couple Common Dolphin following it closely.
Sightings: Short-beaked Common Dolphins (1000), Gray Whale (2), California Sea Lion (50), Bottlenose Dolphins (1)
We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday 🎅 and we'll see you on Wednesday for the "official" start of the Gray Whale season!! Book online at rbwhales.com at either 10am or 1:30pm 🐳
